Nucleya is all set to be one of the judges on India’s first-ever prime time TV show for rappers, to be aired on MTV. The superstar DJ will join top hip hop acts Raftaar and Raja Kumari to find India’s next rap sensation.

Although we are not sure if Nucleya has any sort of experience in rapping himself, we do know that he has a sharp ear to spot talented upcoming lyricists. Nucleya’s collaborations with Divine helped the rapper immensely early in his career to reach wider audiences on his way to be one of the most popular musicians in the country right now. The electronic music producer’s 2018 album, Tota Myna, also saw him collaborating with his fellow judge on the show, Raftaar.

Following the announcement for the launch of the TV show, Nucleya stated:

“Rap has enabled artistes to push boundaries in music and express themselves to the best of their creative finesse. I am delighted to be a part of a concept like ‘MTV Hustle’ that sets the stage for undiscovered talents to excel in the genre. This is one reality show that India truly needs. It’s also my debut on national television which heightens the excitement further. I hope to be of value to the contestants as a mentor and musician and inspire them to perform better.”
