The festival also aspires to set themselves apart by stating that there will be no headliners. The lineup, which is yet to be announced, will feature a range of emerging underground artists from each scene and give them the biggest platform possible to showcase their talents. Various multimedia exhibitions will also be displayed around the festival site, to offer deeper insights into the respective genres and communities.

In an official statement, Boiler Room’s CEO Blaise Bellville said:

“From the outset, Boiler Room was created to provide a platform for underground talent and to connect music fans fans around the world to local scenes for authentic shared moments. With the Boiler Room festival, we are creating a shared music moment on our biggest ever stage. It’s the culmination of everything we’ve built up over the best part of a decade. With our first ever Boiler Room Festival we wanted to represent some of the most exciting music movements and underground scenes in the UK right now — partnering with the emerging DJs, artists and collectives who are shaping contemporary club culture, and giving them the biggest stage we can.”

Boiler Room Festival aims to draw in crowds of over 20,000 across the four days. The entire event will also be broadcasted live on Boiler Room’s digital platforms.
