After dropping a stunning collaboration “Run,” featuring The Bloody Beetroots, Australian bass producer ShockOne returns with “Til Dawn,” the next single from his upcoming second studio album “A Dark Machine.” The theme of the LP is apparent in the heavy-hitting, drum’n’bass-meets-electro sound of “Til Dawn,” which begins with a goosebump-inducing buildup complete with unnerving vocal samples that will leave you jumping at every bump in the night.
ShockOne masterfully creates a musical depiction of a game of cat-and-mouse in which the listener feels destined to lose, tipping his hat to ’80s sci-fi films like “Blade Runner” and “Beyond the Black Rainbow.”
