Every hardstyle fanatic across the globe was sad when the Defqon.1 was officially canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis but the festival organizers offered fans a full online alternative to party from the safety of their homes. “Defqon.1 at Home” experience which took place last weekend was indeed a massive success with millions of fans from more than one hundred and forty different countries tuned in to this three-day hardstyle livestream.
With over 80 artists, the 72-hour broadcast broke their own record of 5.5 million viewers last year, by garnering over 8 million viewers. Last weekend, Defqon.1 kicked off this online experience on Friday with The Gathering, fans danced from left to right through the living room during POWER HOUR: Six Years of Insanity, and on Sunday evening, the festival ended with The Closing Ceremony.

The three-day online festival witnessed stunning performances from the likes of Coone, Zatox, Wildstylez, Audiotricz, Headhunterz, & many major hardstyle acts. Committed to delivering a top-notch online experience, the Q-dance team set up pretty amazing stages accompanied by impressive light and pyro shows. The performances were mainly viewed from the air by using more than six drones simultaneously.
