On the Island of Dreams, SWEDISH ALESSO CELEBRATED HIS BIRTHDAY LIVE IN FRONT OF MORE THAN 60,000 FANS. UMMET OZCAN, DANNY AVILA, KSHMR, MADEON, TCHAMI, AND THE LARGEST FESTIVAL ON A BEACH IN EUROPE WERE THE HEADLINERS OF THE FIRST EVENING.
On the opening day of Neversea, almost 60,000 visitors from Romania and beyond arrived at the Black Sea’s coastline. On Thursday, July 7, the gates to the biggest beach event ever held in Europe were opened. The fourth iteration of Neversea provides the ideal blend for attendees to enjoy a variety of musical genres, the sea, exceptional sunrises and sunsets, and unforgettable experiences, as well as top Romanian and foreign friends and musicians.
Fans from all around the world gathered on the mainstage to celebrate Alesso, one of the most booked performers of 2022. The crowd was anticipating the arrival of the Swedish DJ and producer, who turned 32 yesterday. The musician gave his fans a lovely birthday present by performing a live set of some of his best-known songs, including “Calling (Lose My Mind),” “Under Control,” “If I Lose My Self,” “When I’m Gone,” (with Katy Perry), and the most recent number-one single, “Words” (feat. Zara Larson).
The Swedish DJ expressed his excitement at the response he received from Neversea fans and the response of people who had been waiting for him and had seen him on the mainstage.
On the Neversea mainstage, the lineup included Danny Avila, KSHMR, Madeon, Tchami, The Motans, Kiss FM & WRS Party (Special Guest), and Umet Ozcan.
The Frenchman Madeon gave Neversea fans a special live set that includes songs from the album “Good Faith,” which was nominated for a Grammy Award in the area of “Best Electronic Album.” The performance was first presented at a festival in Romania.
As usual, KSHMR was able to win over its audience, and in 2022 it kept on the practice by including the Romanian song “Dragostea din Tei” in its performance (O-zone).
