When we dropped the Original and nowifi Remix of Emma Hewitt’s return, ‘Into My Arms’, into your system earlier in the month, we promised you an organically emerging release. Well, that evolution continues today, as ‘Into My Arms’ adds heavyweight Markus Schulz to its cast list. Schulz has given ‘Into My Arms’ its first club floor translation, and one that brilliantly equalizes Emma’s bittersweet evocations with an uplift that knows little (if any!) bounds.
The official video which is shot on the wide-open expanses of California’s famed Salton Sea, its free-rein sensibility brilliantly echoes the newly elevated tone of ‘Into My Arms’.
On the occasion of the partnership, Emma took some time to share insights into the writing & composition of ‘Into My Arms’. She says, “When first writing this song – as I so often have been over the years – I was separated from many loved ones in other parts of the world. As the time-and-distance gap grew larger, I began to wonder when, or even if, I would reunite with some of those people in this lifetime. Perhaps they will only be dreamt of for the rest of this journey, but I know I will visit them often in my memories.”
