EXIT Festival is set to make its way to Montenegro this summer as part of its World Tour 2026, bringing with it two major music events. The initiative, known as EXIT to Montenegro, is designed to boost tourism and support the development of the country’s creative sector, helping position Montenegro as a top European destination for music-driven travel.

Under the EXIT to Montenegro concept, the country is expected to gain increased international attention and according to Dušan Kovačević (CEO & Co-Founder of EXIT), Montenegro offers an exceptional mix of natural beauty and coastline, making it ideal for travelers seeking both high-quality vacations and memorable live music. He emphasized that EXIT’s core philosophy linking music with freedom aligns naturally with the spirit of the destination.

Montenegro’s Prime Minister, Milojko Spajić, also highlighted the significance of the project. He noted that the two festivals are expected to attract visitors from over 100 countries, generate more than 200,000 overnight stays, and bring upwards of €40 million in tourism revenue during 2026. The events are set to place Montenegro firmly on the global music map.

The first of the two events is planned for early July, coinciding with the traditional EXIT festival dates. It will be held at Long Beach Ulcinj, a 13-kilometer stretch of sandy coastline in the south of the country which is known for its scenic beauty, the location will serve as a unique backdrop for a large-scale music gathering.

Announcement also confirms the return of Sea Dance Festival to Budva and this edition is particularly notable as it will be among the first events of its size to offer free entry. Over the years, Sea Dance has featured globally recognized artists such as The Prodigy, David Guetta, and Skrillex, among many others, and has earned accolades including a European Festival Award.
