One of the major factors behind the success of music festivals is how it provides the attendees an escape from their reality. Many event organizers strive to create a fantasy world for the festival goers in various unique ways. Taking things to the next level is Tunisia’s Les Dunes Electroniques, which will be hosting a 30-hour rave at the actual filming location of Star Wars Movies.

Ong Jmel desert in the southern edge of Tunisia served as ‘Mos Espa’, the fictional home of Luke Skywalker in Star Wars movies. The iconic location is set to host a festival of epic proportions from September 21 to 22. The event though will not be spread through two days like most festivals, in fact, it will be a non-stop 30-hour rave on two stages.

The festival which held its first edition in 2014, is back after a gap of 3 years. Though the lineup has not been revealed yet, Los Dunes Electroniques promises to host 30 artists including finest local acts from Tunisia along with top underground DJs from around the world. It is worth noting that the lineup will predominantly focus on techno and house Los Dunes Electroniques is expected to release the lineup in next couple of months while the tickets are already on sale now.
