Martin Garrix has just officially announced that he would not be able to perform at his upcoming shows following a serious ankle injury suffered while performing at Omnia club in Las Vegas on 25th May. Martin was forced to cut his set short and was rushed to the nearest hospital after he landed awkwardly on his right leg and twisted his ankle. After 10 days of uncertainty whether the 23-year-old superstar DJ would be back on road, he has taken to his social media to formally give an update on his injury.

Martin’s team has stated that the DJ has torn all his ankle ligaments and is needed to undergo surgery to prevent permanent damage. As of now, Garrix’s all shows in the next 4 weeks stand canceled. Which means the Dutch DJ will miss out on 14 of his upcoming shows, including his headline set at Ultra Korea and the start of his Ushuaia Ibiza residency.

We wish the prodigy a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on stage rocking the crowds!
