After releasing the volume 1 of Pryda 15 EP in June, fans kept on waiting the whole month of July for the volume 2. Finally, Eric took to Twitter to clear that due to ‘an issue with files”, the release of Volume 2 will be delayed from its originally scheduled date in July to 2nd August. But the slight delay seems to be worth it when fans found out some of the tracks released in the EP were floating around as IDs for a decade! ‘The Drive’ was recognized as ‘Mambo 2015 ID’ for being premiered at famous Cafe Mambo in Ibiza while Hulman was known as ‘Queen 2010 ID’ among Prydateers.
An opening couple of tracks ‘Sonar’ and ‘From Within’ are deep and have a strong dark undertone to them. The compilation gathers momentum from there on with all the ingredients that make for a classic Pryda record. The simple yet effective melodies keep you hooked throughout the entirety of the EP, as is the case with any of Prydz’s music.
