Zedd & Alessia Cara Dethrone The Chainsmokers For #1 Song On US Pop Radio

It’s been a long time that The Chainsmokers have been #1 on basically every chart, but there’s a new king in town now… and his name is Zedd! Along with help from Alessia Cara, “Stay” has overtaken “Something Just Like This” on the US Pop Radio Top 40.

Congratulations to both Zedd and Alessia Cara. One of the amazing things is that, according to Pop Crave, “Stay” placed #1 by a margin of only 17 spins.

This is a huge honor for the duo and is the first time the German producer since his smash hit ‘Clarity’. Honestly between Zedd’s incredible production and Alessia Cara’s beyond gorgeous vocals, we are not surprised by the tracks mainstream success. The duo are in good company on the charts as well.
