Last year’s fest had Radiohead and LCD Soundsystem headlining. This year’s edition has Arcade Fire, Chance the Rapper, the Killers, and Muse as headliners. The premiere festival celebrated its 25th anniversary last year with a special 4 day tour in Grant Park.

The overall lineup continues to show signs of strain. Last year, the festival spread to four days from three for the first time, and the talent thinned out – there simply aren’t enough quality bands and artists touring each summer to fill that many slots. Similarly, there appears to be an awful lot of filler to wade through each day this year to get to the gems.
