Trance is such an emotional and motivator, yes, a motivator genre that if you are into it then you don’t need any other thing.
Electric Daisy Carnival is bringing their world renowned festival for the very first time to India and dutch artist Mr Ferry Corsten will be gracing the Dreamstate stage of it.
Being associated with acts like Gouryella, New World Punx, Veracocha, Vimana, he is one of the true trance daddys of all time, also known by aliases like System F, Moonman and so on.
With countless remixes and singles this legend has released 9 studio albums till date under 4 different aliases as “DJ Sno-White”, “Ferr”, “System F” and “Ferry Corsten”.
Do you know the fact that he used to wash cars in his teen age to buy his first keyboard?
This man got very much popular with massive hits like “Don’t Be Afraid”, “Out Of The Blue” in 90s.
Track “Out Of The Blue” destroyed every dance floor back in the days and even today too it has that power and intensity to make you go crazy.
One of the best example would be, recently Above & Beyond played this track at ABGT200 in their main set on main stage as a mashup and as expected it blew the roof of.
In 1999, Ferry & Tiesto gave birth to a new project called “Gouryella” and boom, that was quite a massive success, but that’s not for too long as in 2002 Tiesto decided to concentrate more on his solo projects, so since then its solely by Ferry Corsten now.
This was the Gouryella track that banged every club and festival back in the days.
He also owns weekly radio show called “Corsten’s Countdown” since 2007 dedicated to 1 hour of Trance & Progressives.
There are so many hit and massive tracks by him, but we would like to share some of our personal ones, very very close to our hearts, like Radio Crash, Brute and so on.
As the name suggests, it can crash your radio with its powerful beats and groove 😉
Next one from the list is a hot one, its by Ferry Corsten & Armin van Buuren, they are very good friends and both tour a lot.
So, in 2011 they decided to create something magical, but this was not the first time they collaborated.
In 2015, Ferry Corsten decided to bring his Gouryella project back to life after a very long interval of 13 years, and released track titled as “Anahera”.
The news spread like wildfire about “Gouryella” being back and this tune got crowned “Tune Of The Year” in 2015 on Armin van Buuren’s weekly radio show called “A State of Trance”.
After the massive success of “Anahera”, he made a follow up with “Neba” later this year and listening to it, its like a trip to heaven.
Few weeks ago, he released another beautiful track in collaboration with “Cosmic Gate”, they both are in this business from so long but it took very long for them to finally collaborate and we always say “Fruit of patience is always sweet”, so is the incident with this track 🙂
With all the passion and hard work he is one true legend that we will be really looking forward this weekend at EDC.
We will be there, will you ??
