As it is announced that his track “We Found Love” alongside Rihanna will join only 10 other digital singles as a certified diamond record. A certified diamond record according to the requirements of the RIAA rating system, means that the track has sold over 10 million copies since its release back  in 2011.

The thing that makes this achievement distinguished is “We Found Love” is the very first Electronic Dance Music track to join the coveted list. This track  stands alongside such immense hits as Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” and “Bad Romance” , Eminem’s “Not Afraid” and “Love The Way You Lie (ft. Rihanna),” Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse (ft. Juicy J)” and “Firework”, Justin Bieber’s “Baby (ft. Ludacris)”, Imagine Dragons’ “Radioactive” and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Thrift Shop.
