Though the EDM festival scene continues to bloom, Miami’s Ultra Music Festival remains the ultimate destination, 16 years since its inception. For the 2016 edition, the organizers have crowd-pleasing down to a science: Pretty much every Vegas-level resident you can think of is booked on the main stage and carefully themed smaller stages appeal to other big-room tastes.
1.Eric Prydz
Swedish DJ/Producer “Eric Prydz” best known for his 2004 single hit “Call on Me”, also his singles “Everyday”, “Allein”. After making his debut on the ASOT stage last year, he returns to the ASOT lineup for the 2016 edition of UMF. Last year at UMF ASOT stage, the dancefloor sprawled well outside the confienes of the structure for 90 minutes of sweaty, euphoric Pryda magic, complete with visuals set to stun. There were very few sets as intense as this one, let’s expect the same magic and intense energy from the Pryda boss!
2.Deadmau5
Joel Zimmerman aka Deadmau5 and Ultra have a delicate relationship, to say the least. Deadmau5 is going to make his first ever ASOT debut at the UMF, Miami. He is known for his tracks such as “Raise Your Weapon”, “Ghost’s & Stuff”, “Strobe”, “The Veldt”. After Armin Van Buuren announced the ASOT lineup for UMF, Mau5 fans all over the world were surprised, as if Deadmau5 accepted Armin’s challenge ! Deadmau5 plays an unmatched and unparalleled set, let’s see what stuff he’s going to play at ASOT, UMF Miami 2016.
3. Steve Angello
After the release of his remix Eurythmic’s Sweet Dreams, there was no looking back for him. His collaborations with Eric Prydz, Laidback Luke, Sebastian Ingrosso are a class apart. After his split with Swedish House Mafia, he gave his full attention to his record label called “SIZE”. 2015 saw his release of his chapter titled “Wild Youth”. His sets are full of energetic house tracks and are full of groove. His sets have a perfect blend of tech/bigroom crossover tunes. Steve Angello’s track selection always amazes the crowd.
4. Pendulum Returns
Catch them playing live at the UMF Main Stage on 20 March, 2016. This performance is must attend, as Pendulum is a group which has crafted bass music as a whole in the past decade. They are all set to unite for their first ever live show, since their indefinite discontinuation back in 2012. Taking over Ultra Music Festival Miami, the band’s performance is all set to go down in history.

5. Richie Hawtin
Plastikman better known by Richie Hawtin is best known for his ENTER events all over the world. An important part of Detroit’s second wave of artist’s, he has been a leading exponent of minimal techno. “M_nus” records boss Richie Hawtin created an unique sound which is synonymous with the city of Detroit. Also he is known for his unique equipment setup at the booth. His sets always prove why he’s one of top performers in the game. Cumulative effect of the minimal sounds, visuals, special effects takes the crowd to a new level.
6. KSHMR
Niles Hollowell Dhar better known as “KSHMR” by his stage name. Producers from all over the world adore him for his production tips, his new tracks always technically sounds better than his previous ones. KSHMR has collaborated with the big names in the EDM Industry such as “Dillon Francis”, “R3HAB”, ‘Tiesto”and many more. KSHMR always delivers a pulsating set, his stage presence and selection of tracks is a class apart.
7. JAUZ
LA based DJ/Producer “Jauz” has been on a constant tear ever since he broke out in the scene with the release of his viral hit ‘Feel the Volume”. Jauz has already blurred the boundaries with his ruthless dubstep and bass music. He recently previewed his upcoming track with the drum ‘n’ bass stalwart Netsky, which is still termed as “ID”. Every basshead has a dream to attend Jauz’s performance. He’ll be playing at the UMF Worldwide Stage on 18 March.
8. GALANTIS
Back in November 2013, Linus Eklow of “Style of Eye” and Christian Karlsson aka one third of
Miike Snow decided to get together and collaborate, a surge of creative energy hit them and they produced hit tracks like “Runaway (U&I)”, “In My Head”. They’ve also released an album titled “Pharmacy”. Their sets feature their distinctive euphoric and progressive house style, their performances are a audio – visual treat for the audiences.

9. VICETONE
The phenomenal aftermovie of UMF in the year 2014, had its soundtrack titled ‘United We Dance”. It was a solo track which got likes from dance music lovers from all over the world. Dutch Duo Vicetone are known for their sets full of energy and amazing progressive selections. Their tracks such as “Pitch Black”, “Angels”, “Heartbeat”, “Ensemble”, “Let Me Feel” are hits.
10. MARSHMELLO
Marshmello is a DJ/Producer, putting out great music in the trap and future bass scene. From the likes of Skrillex his tracks such as “Find Me”, “WaVeZ”, “Where Are U Now (Marshmello Remix)” are epic. Marshmello is tearing the future bass scene with his kickass productions. Marshmello’s sets are full of sick drops, future bass drops. His identity is still anonymous, but we assume that he is Chris Comstock better known as “Dotcom”, the man behind the mask.
