Electric Castle’s 8th edition had 5 days, 10 stages, 300 artists, and 272,000 attendees. The edition with the most diverse lineup returned in 2022 on the Banffy field in Bonţida and proved that music is a universal language.
The 5-day festival brought back the classic #EC experience, with non-stop parties and bands making history, invited for the first time in Romania. 15,000 festivalgoers overnight at Electric Village, a campsite built up by organizers near the festival, and 10,000 stayed in the homes and yards of Bonţida residents.


Even after the parade is over, many people will remain in Banffy to ensure the area is returned to its original state. Castle restoration plans will continue with donations from the event’s selective-recycling campaign.


Organizers have prepared a surprise for Electric Castle fans, who may guarantee a spot at the 2023 edition for a special price and a discounted plate.
