A State of Trance 2025 was nothing short of a transcendental experience, when the bass vibrated, the lights painted the night sky in neon hues, and thousands of trance lovers moved as part of one big Trance family. With this year theme as Transformation which definitely was one for the books.

Held at its iconic location in Ahoy, Rotterdam, ASOT 2025 transformed the venue into a futuristic dreamscape, a magical world full of dreamers and crazy passionate fans from around the globe. Immersive stage designs of not one but 5 different Areas, jaw-dropping visuals, unparalleled sound system and 40+ artists braced this year’s edition.

Armin van Buuren, delivered a spectacular 5 hour set featuring b2b performances with Artbat, Ben Hemsley and for the very first time Face 2 Face with none other than Maddix on Area One, seamlessly blending classic anthems with fresh beats that sent chills down the spines, but before even that Ruben de Ronde and Ferry Corsten smashed the crowd with their nice, groovy and progressive warm up set.

Ferry Corsten, Aly & Fila, Ahmed Helmy, Factor B, Jordin Post and MRPHLNDR spin up amazing sets bringing their signature sound to the festival on Area Two.

Day Two, opened up with 3 additional stages with totaling to Five different areas where variety of artists like Ben Gold, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Matt Fax, Estiva, Laura van Dam to name a few spin their best of the sets including loads of unreleased music, whether you are into uplifting melodies or melodic techno or progressives, there was something for everyone.

What sets ASOT apart from other festivals is its dedicated community with electrifying crowd, radiating an unmatched sense of unity. Trance fans from all over the world gathered, waving flags, exchanging smiles, and sharing unforgettable moments. The energy was contagious, and for two days, the outside world ceased to exist. was a spiritual experience in itself.

It was indeed a 2 Day journey celebrating the love for music, and a reminder of why trance continues to thrive. If you’ve never attended, make sure it’s on your bucket list. For those who were there, we all left a piece of our hearts on that dance floor, eagerly waiting for the next edition.
