Since its debut in 2013, the 808 Festival Bangkok has become one of the most highly talked about electronic events across all of Asia. Each December, it sets the stage for an action-packed weekend filled with exciting dance music fans alike from every corner of the world. From beautiful lights, to extraordinary sound systems and an electric energy that only escalates, the 808 Festival Bangkok is more than just a festival, it’s a forced experience that you feel from start to finish.

The 2025 edition runs from December 5-7 at BITEC Bangna which is one of the best venues in Bangkok, and conveniently accessible to the BTS Skytrain. December is the best time of the year to visit. The air is a little cooler, the energy is at a higher level, and with every set, the celebration feels imminent as we transition the year.

The Phase 1 lineup is enormous this year. Expect thrilling sets from Charlotte de Witte, Dom Dolla, Indira Paganotto, Reinier Zonneveld (live), Juliet Fox, Maddix, Odd Mob, Pan-Pot, Sammy Virji, Space 92, William Kiss and HNTR, while Drumcode takes over as well. The festival will confirm more artists in the coming weeks, but already in the first wave, I tip my hat to the busy weekend we will have of pumping techno, melodic house, and bass heavy.

The festival is known for its immersive production on top of the music, and has some of the best vibes you will find. The festival has lights, visuals, and stage production to rival the biggest festivals in Europe. Combine that with the amazing nightlife and street culture in Bangkok in the warm month of December, and you’ve got something special. It’s a global sound and local soul—a true end-of-the-year getaway that every fan of EDM should experience.
