Sónar Festival today reveals the first artists from a programme that will include more than 100 shows, promising one of its most diverse and innovative editions yet.

For the first time, the entire musical programme will take place in a single venue at Fira Barcelona (Gran Via, L’Hospitalet), adopting a new three-day format with uninterrupted music from afternoon to late night for a more seamless and immersive experience.

The initial lineup includes new shows from Kelis, Skepta, Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Modeselektor, Cabaret Voltaire, Nia Archives, Julianna Barwick & Mary Lattimore, WhoMadeWho, Ascendant Vierge and 30drop, alongside DJ sets by Chris Stussy, Sammy Virji, DJ Gigola, Kettama, Joy Orbison, Boys Noize, Ogazón, ISA, Clementaum b2b LAZA, Alba Franch and more.

Sónar+D, the 14th International Congress of Innovation, Creativity and Technology, will remain in Barcelona, expanding its presence within Fira Gran Via with immersive installations, digital art and interactive projects. The discourse and networking programme, held at a soon-to-be-announced city-centre venue, will continue to gather leading voices in music, creative technologies and cultural innovation.

The festival also unveils its new SonarImage campaign, created by Boldtron, portraying Sónar as a constantly evolving organism.
