Romania has officially entered the spotlight of major international cultural events with a headline-making announcement delivered in one of the world’s most influential creative capitals. During Paris Fashion Week, BEACH, PLEASE! revealed that Playboi Carti will perform at BEACH, PLEASE! 2026, marking the trap superstar’s first-ever appearance in Romania.

The announcement took place on Sunday, January 25, in Paris, at an exclusive event hosted at Gate Club, officially included in the Paris Fashion Week agenda. The moment drew global attention, with international artists Lil Tecca and Shenseea also present, further underlining the festival’s strong ties to the top tier of the global urban music scene.

During the event, Playboi Carti took the stage, where Selly, founder of BEACH, PLEASE!, formally confirmed the artist’s inclusion in the 2026 lineup. The gesture symbolically welcomed Carti into the BEACH, PLEASE! community of Costinești, a moment that resonated across both the international music and fashion industries.

Playboi Carti stands as one of the most influential figures in modern trap music and a defining voice of global youth culture. With billions of streams worldwide and cult-defining projects such as Whole Lotta Red and MUSIC, Carti has reshaped the sound and attitude of contemporary trap while building one of the most devoted fanbases in the world. His presence at BEACH, PLEASE! 2026 represents a milestone not only for the festival, but for Romania’s live music landscape as a whole.

The Opium movement, which formed around his artistic vision, blends music, fashion, and a nonconformist attitude, positioning Carti as a global cultural reference point, not just a festival headliner.

So far, the BEACH, PLEASE! 2026 lineup includes Future, Don Toliver, and Playboi Carti, a combination that does not appear on the bill of any other festival worldwide. Despite its premium lineup, the festival remains significantly more affordable than comparable international events.BEACH, PLEASE! tickets return on sale on Wednesday, January 28, at 7:00 PM, with prices starting at 849 RON (approximately €167).

Fans should take note: ticket access will be extremely limited. Without pre-registration, many risk missing out, given the massive international interest generated by the announcement and the exclusivity of the lineup.
