Neeta Lulla, an Indian costume designer has prepared a traditional-desi costume for the American electro-pop duo’s gig!
We can’t really wait to see them wearing this outfit! The Grammy-winning duo, The Chainsmokers, are going to hit the shores of
the country in less than four weeks from now for their gig at Road To Ultra: India, 2017!
They will be performing in Mumbai on September 7th and Delhi on September 8th!
Neeta Lulla, who has worked in more that 300 films is to design Desi costumes and it you can have a look of what she prepared here!
Sources reveal that the duo loves Indian arts and traditional designs and motifs. and while they perform and appear in their
Desi outfit, they will also sport something aboriginal on stage!
Neena says, “I have fused traditional prints and modern cuts for their outfits. The design is fresh and modern, but it also has an Indian touch to it with the earthy and tribal Warli art.”
She has made Lord Ganesha as a part of her work as it symbolizes success and prosperity at work. A lot of fused electro-pop colours
have been used and she says that the colors play an important part to stand out.
