It’s officially time to start preparing for Electric Forest 2018 as the ELECTRIC FOREST has announced its highly anticipated return to Rothbury, Michigan for their 2018 edition . The beloved music and camping festival has revealed it will be returning to the legendary Double JJ Ranch for another iconic double header on June 21-24 and June 28-July 1, 2018 .
Earlier this year , along with the dates , the festival revealed a new initiative , the EF Wish Machine . The EF Wish Machine is made to encourage Forest family to spread positivity by offering acts of kindness in return for the chance at having a Forest wish granted .
The Electric Forest team is well known for their super creative ways of revealing the line up .
This year they’re back with something exciting just like they did in 2016 .
During a pop-up event last night in Ann Arbor, MI at Club Necto , Electric Forest blanketed the rooms with clues in various ways. According to redditor /u/Supersighs, “Throughout the venue there [were] many posters were on the wall saying “Performer” is playing Electric Forest 2018. There was a special bar menu with clues to different acts playing. A little burlesque show that revealed some acts. There was a different number on each Men and Women bathroom mirror that if you called, had an artist saying they’re excited to be playing EF2018. The toilet paper had a word scramble all over it revealing an act. There was also a word search projected on the building also revealing some acts.”
