Spinland – New Chapter in Indian Dance Festival Scene

India has emerged as a new hub for Electronic Dance Music, with every big artist and lately renowned concerts showing their interest in India making way for international events like “Sensation” and “Don’t let daddy know” peeping through window and knocking at the door of festival scene in India. But now widening the circuit we have our very own international level festival being nurtured in India, A festival that will leave you spellbound. We are taking about “Spinland Music Festival” which will see it’s first edition this February.

Promising a spectacle like never before in Hyderabad, The festival will be a 3 day expansion of Dance, Fun, Music, Camping and of-course Music. The festival will also host camping and this is for the first time camping is being introduced to a music festival in South India. The music, the dancing and the atmosphere will certainly ensure you’re in for a great weekend (12-13-14 Feb ) at Spinland Music Festival.

We have also heard that a mammoth 55 m high and 155 m long octopus stage will the acting as the main stage at the festival along with 2 other stages, giving you chills and consistently an unquestionably marvelous feat of production engineering.

Spinland promises you for 50 plus artist on their lineup with a balanced combination of International and Home grown acts. Lets have a look on some of their internatinal headliners.

1. Aly & Fila :

Since bursting onto the international clubbing scene with their massive hit ‘Eye of Horus’ back in 2003, The duo from Egypt, Aly & Fila have been a constant inspiration to clubbers and DJs alike. Their euphoric, uplifting blend of sweeping trance tunes has seen them rise to A-list status alongside the likes of Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, and many more industry heavyweights.

Aly & Fila have stayed true to their roots from the beginning and their immense success over the past 9 years is proof that Trance is as alive as ever.

DJ and producer Gregor Salto has been dominating the Dutch club scene for over a decade with his original dance music.

Tracks like ‘Mas Que Nada’, ‘Paris Luanda’ and ‘Damelo’ seem to underline Salto’s identity as a Latin House artist, but a closer look shows his interest in Pop, Soul, African and World music. He is constantly seeking to cross existing boundaries and take on new challenges, all the while with a fixed eye on the ever changing international dance scene.

3. Headhunterz :

Headhunterz, is a Dutch DJ and music producer and has grown as one of the biggest names in hardstyle music, becoming a major contribution to its growing popularity worldwide. For the majority of his career Headhunterz has released his work on Scantraxx through his own sub-label, Scantraxx Reloaded, but in 2013 he started his own record label, HARDwithSTYLE.

After leaving their solo carrer, Alessandro Martello & Emanuele(Alex Martello and Leletroniq ) have teamed up for Marnik and have emerged as young sensation from Italy making a mark in international scene with their unique sound. They emerged on the wordwide scene with their track “Interstellar” in collaboration with Steve Aoki, also their track “Bazaar” with KSHMR went to making No 1 at Beatport this December.
