Frédérik Durand, better known by his stage named SNAILS, is a Canadian DJ and music producer. Snails released his first song “Bubble Gun” on Kannibalen records in September 2012. Since then he has been releasing music, lots of them are on Skrillex’s label OWSLA.
His style is described as “vomitstep”, featuring “guttural bass gurgles, crushing 808s and synthesizers oscillated. He has played alongside lots of artists like Flosstradamus, Jauz, Slushii & more..
SNAILS has been touring heavily all over the world, playing major festivals like EDC Vegas, Ultra Music Festival, Electric Forest, Coachella & more. In Denver, Colorado during his act at Decadence Music Festival, he announced that he would be throwing his own festival, Sluggtopia, at Red Rocks in October of 2017.
In May, Snails and Botnek released their collaboration titled “Wafflehouse”, along with a music video, once again through Skrillex’s label OWSLA. We have complied some of his vomit for you :
