Untold Festival , the Romania based dance music celebration has been growing since its inception in 2015.Also,it is the biggest dance music festival in the country of Romania.Romania has rugged stone churches and dazzling monasteries which dot a pristine landscape of rocky mountains and rolling hills.The 2017 edition brought large crowds of music fans to Cluj-Napoca, in Western Romania.The third edition of the UNTOLD Festival took place this year and the festival is already gearing up for a massive 4th edtition.It was awarded Best Major Festival at the European Festival Awards 2015 (Groningen, Olanda) and Brand of The Year at the IAA Excellence Awards.
This year the festival was a four-day affair which saw amazing shows of Ellie Goulding, Marshmello, Afrojack, Armin Van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Dillon Francis, Steve Aoki, and many more.Talking about the festivals’s 2017 theme , it was centered on “the Dragon,” specifically the battle between good and evil with the essence of “Love, Hope, Trust, and Courage,” which they refer to as “Dragonstones”.The goal of the festival is to thematically engage these ideas to create an even stronger and positive environment within the overall festival experience. With the combination of these themes with the overall transformative experience a festival of this capacity offers, any participant is destined for an experience unlike any other.

The festival’s lineup is so perfectly balanced that anyone can find the music for his/her taste. It’s mostly house, techno, deep-house, disco, but there’s dubstep, bass and drum’n’bass terrace, also a rock stage, Romanian music and alternative music.The UNTOLD festival’s nights always end in fireworks, and one of the biggest strength of the festival is its world of light and visual effects.
Previously names such as Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Sander van Doorn, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Tujamo, Ellie Goulding, Example + Dj Wire, Hurts, Jasmine Thompson, MØ, R. City, Redfoo, Tinie Tempah, Chris Liebing, Dubfire, Jamie Jones, Loco Dice, Solomun, Sven Väth, Andy C, Borgore, Chase & Status DJ SET, Dub FX, Pendulum DJ SET, Sigma have performed at the festival.
The 2018 edition promises 100+ hours of music, beside the performances of 150+ artists, an unique experience to the attendees.It will take place fromAugust 2 and August 5 of next year, in Cluj-Napoca.
