Reddit is meant for deep discussion throughout the world on the internet. Recently fans took charge and voted for their own version to challenge DJ Mag Top 100.
Some weeks ago, another initiative related to EDM took place on Reddit. The aim was to come up with Top 100 songs in EDM History. Results are out and it is obvious that pro EDM fans have taken lead and newbie kids are left far away. All of them are compiled in one Spotify playlist in order from slowest to fastest BPM. Some insights from results are.
Top 3 songs in order are: “Levels” by Avicii, “Animals by Martin Garrix” and “Strobe by Deadmau5”
Tiësto came up with 10 out of 100 songs, including collabs with Hardwell, Oliver Heldens, and KSHMR. Skrillex and Alesso got five songs placed, and Armin van Burren, Calvin Harris, Hardwell and trio Swedish House Mafia with four placements.
