TIMEOUT 72, the festival which is all set to take place this December will be hosting acts such as Martin Garrix, Wiz Khalifa, Jason Derulo, Don Diablo, Timmy Trumpet and many more just revealed the stage design for the three stages at the debut edition of the Festival in Goa. The stages are inspired from the concept of epoch, constellation and space, every stage will stand true to the brand name and legacy. Each stage took more than a whopping 3 months to design and will involve a workforce of close to 100 laborers to implement on-ground for show day. We are surely lost in translation on this one, or maybe lost in time!
Well, lets have a look at the massive design of the Main Stage which is named as “Majoris”. The name itself means the mightiest and the biggest in the space theory, which promises to be India’s first biggest festival stage, measuring at 200 x 55 feet and will be a 3D stage. The attendees can surely expect a heavy dose of an audio-visual spectacle after every headliner set with an eclectic foray of special effects comprising C02 blasts, pyro, confetti, blinder lights, SFX and laser. Martin Garrix, Wiz Khalifa, Jason Derulo, Don Diablo, Timmy Trumpet, NERVO,Sem Vox, Third Party Lucas & Steve and Justin Mylo will be performing at the main stage.
The Psy Stage will be titled “Eximius”. The name itself has an unique meaning that is to the finest and the rarest in the space theory will feature hundreds of lights illuminating the stage. Though the stage is awe-inspiring in daylight, as night falls, its bright psychedelic lights will enhance the hide and seek game of lights and colors. Acts like Coming soon, Vini Vici, Ritmo, GMS, Symbolic and Skazi will be taking over the psy stage.
Live Stage which will be hosting acts such as Lucky Ali, Prateek Kuhad, Papon & more will be named as “Proximus” signifying propinquity in the space theory and will allow fans to get up close and personal with their favourite bands.
The most important thing that makes the stage designs very unique is the German involvement- world’s biggest manufacturer of scaffolding systems, Layher will be providing their services for Main Stage while the sound will be provided by d&b audiotechnik SL Series.
