Budweiser and Boiler Room brought their new project : Budx – Electronic Music Lab to New Delhi for the first time ever. From the 6th till 8th of December this month, a one of a kind conference format music festival was put up, packed with panel discussions, workshops, film screenings, lectures, masterclasses and of course, artist performances!

Here are some things that we absolutely loved about the festival.

1.The Bud Hotel

Budweiser collaborated with Le Meridian, Gurgaon to create the best stay arrangements for the attendees. The Budweiser themed rooms also had in them delightful goodies for our “homecoming”.

2. The Venue And Set Up

The venue, Dhan Mill Compound, Chattarpur was allocated into three rooms called the Main Room, Screening Room and Breakout Room where a lot of activities took place simultaneously, giving us wonderful options to choose from.

3. The Masterclasses and Panel Discussions

One of the best parts of the event was informational aspect of it. It brought together curators and artists from all over the country to participate in talks, panel discussions, masterclasses and other such interactive activities. From lessons on how to use DJ controllers, the future of electronic music and the art of management and discovery, there was just so much to learn!

4. The Artist Performance Lineup

The lineup was an exciting blend of international and homegrown acts. Marcellus Pittman, Omar S, FILM, Arjun Vagale, Raji Rags, Kini Rao, Sid Vashi, Inga Mauer and a lot many artists took over the console tables to build a brilliant musical experience.

5. The Boiler Room Style Parties

There were special sets with the Boiler Room setup and we absolutely loved everything about it. The whole Boiler Room concept makes the audience a lot more involved than the other conventional gigs as it brings us up and close to the artist! The entire vibe that it builds is one to not miss out on.

Overall, the three day festival was unmissable and we hope that BUDx comes back in town as well as expands it fold to other cities of India as well!
