DJ Snake has won millions of hearts in India since he shot up to fame with the evergreen track ‘Lean On’.  DJ Snake is set to make a return to the Sunburn Festival in Pune on the 29th of December.

This prompted us to collect a few interesting facts about DJ Snake:

1) He was a pro Graffiti artist and used to evade the police every time. That’s why the local people out here used to call him snake. That’s where the name DJ Snake came from.

2) While he was about to play his one of the biggest gigs in early times, he was scared of the crowd so his manager suggested him to wear glasses while performing so it won’t affect his concentration and since then those glasses became his signature style.

3) He has previously produced for hip hop artists like Lady Gaga, Akon, Pitbull and many more.

4) He is the only artist in the EDM industry to have had the privilege to play at the Arc De Triomphe in Paris which is the symbol of ‘Power‘.

5) DJ Snake is a huge football fan & prefers Cristiano Ronaldo over Lionel Messi but his favourite club is PSG.

6) He made it to the Forbes list of ’30 under 30 in Music‘ last year (2016).

7) DJ Snake recently took part in helping refugees in Bangladesh. The organisation has managed to raise over $2M in less than a month.

Sunburn Festival will be having a techno, psy stage, KRUNK & more other stages this year. The 2017 iteration of the festival will be having a perfect combination of local talents as well as the global heavy weights. Sunburn Festival is set to take place in Pune at Oxford Golf Resort  from December 28 through December 31st.We cannot wait for DJ Snake to hit Indian shores next weekend. It is set to be the biggest party of the year.
