2018 looks like the year of big collaborations be it Skrillex x Jennifer Lopez or Martin Garrix x Justin Bieber. The newest names to come together are none other legends of the music industry, Tiesto and Gucci Mane.
Tiesto drops a newer version of his already hit track with Sevenn. The new version of “ BOOM “ features vocals from the legendary rapper Gucci Mane. The track now sounds more awesome than before as The rapper adds an entirely new layer on this club hit.
Tiesto talks about how he and Gucci Mane teamed up and how it’s not easy for collabs to come up :
“My track “BOOM” is already a massive club hit, and I figured that it still had some room to grow with the right feature. I’ve always liked Gucci’s flow and music, so I approached him and he was down! This particular collaboration came together organically” says Tiësto. “What I’ve learned about teaming up with other artists is that everyone’s ear is different and everyone has their unique approach to working with a track. I know my sound very well, which can make collaborations difficult because I’m not willing to compromise my style. But, when my collaborations work, they really work. This track is an example of that.”
The original track “ BOOM “ has already garnered over 100 million streams worldwide and is also recognized as one of the most supported tracks among DJs in 2017. Along with this new collaboration , Tiesto also announced some major tour dates for 2018 . Some major shows include his shows at Festival Hall in Melbourne and Hodern Pavillion in Sydney.
