Marshmello has started his year in a big way, releasing new music back to back and touring around the globe. He even announced three upcoming collaborations with some of the biggest artists like Jauz and Crankdat. All these new releases point towards a new EP from Marshmello, but nothing is confirmed yet.
His latest single with Anne Marie, ‘ Friends ‘ was released some time ago and we even watched him play that at Vh1 Supersonic. Fans have given an amazing response to this single as this is not the usual Marshmello track. He came out of his comfort zone and went pop with this one. It looks like the alluring vocals from Anne Marine and Marshmello’s Beats were made for each other.
Marshmello just now released the official video for this track named‘ Friends ‘ * Official Friendzone Anthem*. Video starts with the beautiful Anne Marie in her party, singing along the vocals of this track and Marshmello As one of her friends. On the other hand Marshmello is in love with this girl. The girl that is Anne Marie is not in love with him but poor Marshmello in order to stick around, does all the work for her. He doesn’t leave her and her friends alone for a second but he just doesn’t realise that there is no escape from the friendzone. At the end, Anne Marie tired of Marshmello’s behaviour, accepts him ( but as a friend ).
The track sure looks like a hit and the video is all set to connect with the ones who are in the FRIENDZONE.
