The wait is finally over for Electric Castle fans! Electric Castle has became one of the most unique and legendary festivals in Eastern Europe, now on its 5th consecutive edition. Romania’s best kept secret event will take place on 18-22 July,at the spectacular Transylvanian domain of Bánffy Castle, near Cluj Napoca in Romania. This year is announced for 18-22 July.
The festival started as an ‘alternative and sort of hipsters-ish’ 4-days/5 nights party. Now we have electronic music, arts & performance combined with technology, visual effects,a medieval castle and breathtaking Romanian nature. More than a hundred artists will perform on the 8 stages. A very modern musical lineup, a generous food court, a nice camping area, tech toys such as VR,a huge Ferris wheel and plenty of things will be there to keep you busy, like life-size Pac-Man, pillow and water fight, beach volley, small hidden forest with a maze and a relax zone, all day all night.

Even the lineup is eclectic, they have Damian Marley, Bob Marley’s youngest son, whose music is deeply rooted in Jamaican culture and as we expected some musical diversity from the Electric Castle like indie pop band London Grammar, drum and bass artistNetsky, pop singer Jessie J, famous DjMura Masaand other overrated headliners like Icona Pop, Alison Wonderland, ST Germain, JP Cooper, Wolf Alice, Digitalism, Excision, Son Lux, The Horrors, Jackmaster, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, The Bloody Beetroots, Richie Hawtie, Kensington, Nothing But Thieves, Tchami, Valentino Khan, Quantic, Henry Saiz& Band, Romanian bands like Subcarpați or Vița de Vie, and many more.
