Untold Festival, the Romania based dance music celebration has been growing since its inception in 2015. Also, it is the biggest dance music festival in the country of Romania. The 2017 edition brought large crowds of music fans to Cluj-Napoca, in Western Romania. The third edition of the UNTOLD Festival took place last year and the festival is already gearing up for a massive 4th edition. It was awarded Best Major Festival at the European Festival Awards 2015 (Groningen, Olanda) and Brand of The Year at the IAA Excellence Awards.

Untold Festival is not just a 4 day musical extravaganza, it is an experience full of fun filled activities. Except music, the location of the festival offers spectacular countryside landscapes, snow-capped mountains & more. Every year, the festival gathers more than 330,000 EDM fanatics each year in August in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
We just compiled a list of 8 acts playing at Untold Festival this year which you simply can’t miss!
1.The Prodigy
The Prodigy are the undebiable pioneers of the big beat genre. They have been awarded with two Brit Awards for Best British Dance Act, three MTV Video Music Awards, two Kerrang! Awards, five MTV Europe Music Awards, and two Grammy Award nominations in their glorious career. It would be a treat for sure when they will perfrom their iconic tunes such as “Firestarter”, “Worlds on Fire”, “Warriors Dance”, “Omen”, “Invaders Must Die”.
2. Solomun
Solomun is known for his signature style of adding a fresh, ultramodern twist to the house genre. He has performed a major role in redefining European house music with productions, remixes and DJing by taking the very building blocks of House and deftly reconstructing them with a modern twist.
3. Bryan Kearney
Bryan Kearney is Ireland’s finest export in the trance music industry. He’s one of those acts who has got an experience of 15 years of djing. His releases have been played at every singe major trance music event He has performed at major electronic gatherings such as Electronic Daisy Carnival, Electric Zoo, Tomorrowland, Stereosonic, Cream Ibiza and many more. He has toured extensively all over the globe in countries such as USA, Australia, Argentina, Mexico, Egypt, India, all over Europe and beyond.
4. Wilkinson
Wilkinson, the d’n’b star has been making waves in the scene with a number of hit remixes and original productions. Back in 2013 he dropped his debut album Lazers Not Included. He has been regularly releasing music on RAM Records and Hospital Records. So get ready to rage with him!
5.Bonobo
Well it would be a mistake if you miss Bonobo performing live at the festival you are attending! Simon Green aka Bonobo’s productions are known to have euphoric melodies with cutting edge electronics, bass and drums. Back in the year 2000’s he embraced the electronic music industry with his debut album ‘Animal Magic’. He has performed across a number of major venues in the world.
6. Nina Kraviz
Nina Kraviz hails from Irkutsk, Siberia she has been performing at every single major underground music event. Nina Kraviz is currently the name on everyone’s lips in the house and techno community. She has been smashing the scene since the year 2008. Nina Kraviz recently performed at The Great Wall Of China. So get ready to experince a stunning & intense performance from the queen!
7.Flux Pavilion
Joshua Steele better known by his stage name Flux Pavilion is known for his high energy sets & signature dubstep releases. Flux Pavilion’s releases have garnered heavy support from legends such as Rusko, Caspa, N-Type, Hatcha, Plastician & more. The Circus imprint boss has been scouting & releasing a number of tunes from talents. So get ready to head bang when he drops “Bass Cannon”!
8. Armin Van Buuren
Armin van Buuren is an act who is the uncrowned king of the trance genre. The Dutch legend has a very hectic schedule every year with more than 150 headlining shows. Armin van Buuren is constantly on the move, either with the music he creates in his studio or en route to his next high-end club or festival show around the globe.Armin has released six full-length artist albums to his name:‘76’ (2003), ‘Shivers’ (2005), ‘Imagine’ (2008), ‘Mirage’ (2010), ‘Intense’ (2013), and ‘Embrace’. Last year, he played an intense & euphroic 5.5 hour set at Untold Festival.
