Skrillex and Diplo fans are desperately waiting for a Jack Ü return just like Swedish House Mafia came together earlier this year. The likeliness of that happening looks very little but Jack Ü’s unreleased tracks or demo’s keep resurfacing time after time. This time it’s RL Grime who’s released an unreleased demo from Jack Ü featuring Miguel and Julia Michaels.
RL Grime is all set to officially drop his new album ‘ Nova ‘ in a couple of days and he’s taken the hype to another level with a little teaser of this Jack Ü bit. This demo was brought back to life from Jack Ü’s unreleased songs and given new vocals, production, and a handful of other changes to make it sound like it does now.
RL Grime talked about this in an Interview with Zane Lowe..
“Wes played the demo for me maybe like a year ago. […] It was a pretty old demo that he played me, and I just loved the vibe of it and decided to build it out and have Miguel and Julia recut their vocals, so was in with them. It has a great summery vibe to it. I felt like this album needed something like that.”
RL Grime has actually done his magic on this demo and turned it into a monstrous collab called ‘ Light Me Up ‘. Listen to it below:
