Vomitstep prodigy, Snails, is about to drop a remixed version of his debut album “The Shell” – and he’s given us a taste of the utter destruction to come with the release of Funtcase’s remix of “Forever.” Funtcase rises to the challenge by incorporating a fresh dose of grimy, mechanical synths and face-melting basslines, which gives the producer’s legion of headbanging fans yet another reason to go absolutely wild during his notorious live sets.

Funtcase stated:

“I loved writing this remix, the original I was playing for absolutely AGES before release, so I was happy when Snails said I could remix it…hope you enjoy”

He unleashes this monster remix to the public. The “Forever” remix is out on Snails’s Slugz Music and follows up the label’s much-anticipated first release “Shake the Ground” with Kill the Noise and Sullivan King & Jonah Kay last month.

For his part, Snails has been relatively close-lipped about who else will be featured on the remix album or its exact date of release, but rest assured it will be filled with the gut-wrenching bass and metal sound that has become an underground cult favorite. As for the first remix release, Snails gives it the Vomitstep stamp of approval. “Funtcase’s remix of ‘Forever’ from my album ‘The Shell’ is one of the biggest tracks in my set right now and seriously goes off every time,” he says. “I knew as soon as I sent him the stems, he would destroy it. I’ve been such a fan of his for a long time now and so stoked he put his own spin on this one and could be a part of the remix album.” For the chance to hear the “Forever” remix in the flesh, head to Snails’s Sluggtopia showcase at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre on October 5th, where Funtcase will play a special b2b set with Cookie Monsta. Rest assured, this is one you don’t want to miss!
