Miriam and Olivia Nervo, the global electronic music act who has taken the scene by a storm are all set to make their way to Timeout Festival this month. Nervo released their full-length debut, Collateral, in 2015 and after that they dropped a number of dance music anthems. Just sometime ago they released a viral hit Best Friend which became the official iPhone X campaign song and reached number one on radio and iTunes, and has over 30 million views on YouTube and over 40 million streams on Spotify. With a number of mainstage performances across the globe & hit tunes it’s fair to say NERVO are credited with being one of the biggest dance acts in the business!

Here are 9 facts which you probably didn’t know about the twins!

1. NERVO have co-wrote the Grammy Award-winning single, “When Love Takes Over”,  performed by David Guetta and Kelly Rowland.

2. At the age of 18, they signed contract with Sony/ATV Music Publishing.

3. They began their careers as models with the Australian Chadwick Models Agency and were also ambassadors at the L’Oreal Fashion Festival.

4. Miriam Nervo appeared on the soap opera One Life to Live in May of 2013.

5. This year, they hosted their very own #NERVONation stage at the mega festival Tomorrowland.


6. Miriam and Olivia pursued a career as songwriting partners when they were 18 years old.

 

7. The started their careers as models along with Australian Models Agency. Also they were known as the ambassadors of L’Oreal Fashion Festival. In August 2011 NERVO signed with modeling agency, Wilhelmina Models. They were also featured in Pacha magazine

8. They have worked with Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, Nicole Scherzinger and a lot others. They emerged as hit songwriters for Kesha to  Guetta & Rowland, Pussycat Dolls and more.

9. There songs such as “The Way We See the World,” “We’re All No One,” “You’re Gonna Love Again,” “Like Home,” and “Hold On” have taken the world by a storm.
