Netsky, JP Cooper, Triggerfinger, De Staat and AJ Tracey are a few of the big names that will take part on our journey to AWAKE Festival 2019. Born in Mureș, at Gornești, Romania, Awake surprised us every year with the greatest artists, best surroundings and a great organization. This year they’re gonna keep us awake with one more edition and a first big names announcement.
Netsky, one of our favorite DJs, and we bet that he’s one of yours too, known for his style liquid drum & bass, his collaborations with artists like Lost Frequencies, David Guetta or Emeli Sande, will take down the scene at the festival bumping our hearts with songs like Rio, Thunder or Memory Lane.
JP Cooper, the second name on the line of headliners, brings diversity with his reputation for soul, dance, alternative rock and tropical house music. You may know him from his song Perfect Strangers that brings his collaboration with Jonas Blue or The artist inside in collaboration with this year’s DLDK star Don Diablo and we’re sure that hits like She’s on my mind or his first album Raised Under Grey Skies marked your music tastes.
Awake wants to make everyone feel like we are one with the music that will tag our presence at the festival, so the rock part will be covered by De Staat. In the mix of alternative rock, electronic and experimental is where we’ll find the Dutch band. Making their debut on the openings of big bands like Muse or participating on international festivals like Glastonbury, Szgiet or Lowlands, we bet their will on our hearts for the rest of the festival.
I know we had you at Netsky, JP Cooper and De Staat, but we should not forget about the Belgian rock band, Triggerfinger, or rapper, MC and record producer, AJ Tracey.
Awake festival, the first boutique festival in Romania combined with contemporary arts, will be extended to a 4 days experience, between 15th-18th August, at the spectacular Teleki domain from Gornești, Mureș.
