Marshmello played the first ever virtual concert in a video game this last weekend. He featured in a 10 minute performance in the game. Fortnite has a total of 200 million followers, out of which around 80 million are active.

It has been reported that this concert was viewed by over 10 million people. This definitely got the world of EDM a whole set of new fans. Hence, this concert could well be one of the biggest events of the year as far as the EDM industry is concerned.
