Vh1 Supersonic has settled down now as one of the biggest festivals that takes place every year. The transition they had to go from Goa to Pune was handled perfectly. They definitely gave all their fans an experience they would never forget, over all these years. This year was no different. The Festival took place on the 16th & 17th of February, 2019. They had to move to a different location due to reasons unknown. That turned out to be a blessing in disguise as this venue (Mahalaxmi lawns) was definitely bigger and better than the previous one (Laxmi Lawns).

Here are 10 reasons why Vh1 Supersonic was a huge hit:

1.Production– Nobody matches Vh1 Supersonic when it comes to Festival Production. They have maintained the highest standards in this regards and this year was no different.

2.Multi-genre stages– They featured 4 stages this year with each stage pleasing a different kind of audience. The mainstage was beautiful as usual. The other stages included an awakenings stage, a live stage and a smaller stage for other electronic genres.

3.Hospitality– We pay a lot of money to go to a festival. Our friends at Vh1 Supersonic always seem to respect that. They always go one step ahead to make sure the festival attendees are taken care of. This year they provided free drinking water, free parking and their team always assisted the attendees. Including those from the security and also the management.

 

4.Flea Market– They had a decent amount of space for a flea market. Where people (would hang around and shop. 

5.Leisure activities– They provided free for all activities like a PS4, 5D VR experience, and a few other games which anyone could enjoy.

6.Hairstylist/Makeup Artist– They had a couple of professional hairstylists/makeup artists who would provide their services, again absolutely free.

7.Affordable ticket pricing– Vh1 Supersonic has to have been the best `Value For Money`festival of the year. The 2-day early bird passes were a mere 2500 INR. 

8.Mouth Watering Food Joints– There were lots and lots of options for people to eat food. It was almost like you could have 4 meals there during the 2 day period and yet not even try like 20% of the number of options you had to eat.

9. Balanced Lineup– The lineup this year was a fusion of a wide range of artists across different genres ranging from the global stars Bonobo, Marshmello, techno geniuses Bart Skils to our homegrown gems.

 

10.Affordable bar– The liquor or even the non-liquor items at the bar were reasonably priced. An energy drink at the festival cost a mere 100 INR and a Budweiser Beer cost 150 INR, which is really cheap considering it was being served at a music festival.
