Keith Flint, The Prodigy’s iconic singer, died at the age of 49 years old. The body of the eccentric artist was discovered in his home in Essex, around 8.10 am on the 4th March. Liam Howlett, bandmate, said Keith Flint “took his life in weekend”, according to The Guardian. The Prodigy is an English electronic music band that has featured songs such as: “Firestarter”, “Breath”, “No Good”, “Out of Space” or “Voodoo People”. Keith Flint became a symbolic figure in British music culture in the 90’s due to his energetic performances and his distinctive physical appearance.The Prodigy sold 30 million records since its debut in 1990.

He wrote on Instagram : “The news is true, I can’t believe I’m saying this but our brother Keith took his own life over the weekend, I’m shell shocked, fuckin angry, confused and heartbroken ….. r.i.p brother”

The Essex Police spokesperson said : “We were called to concerns for the welfare of a man at an address in Brook Hill, North End, just after 8.10am on Monday. Unfortunately, the 49-years-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.”.
