It is quite rare when Eric Prydz releases a remix. His last remix came in 2016 when he released a Pryda remix of his own track ‘On & Off’ from Cirez D. While the last time he made a remix of another artist’s work was in 2015 for CHVRCHES’s beautiful tune Tether. The Swedish progressive producer has released his own spin on Cristoph & Camelphat’s Breathe. Cristoph and Camelphat have had a big past year with some massive releases in the club scene. They get another huge pat on their backs from the boss Eric Prydz, after supporting him on his Hi Ibiza shows last summer.

Prydz gets you grooving right from the first second and sets the mood straight with a heavy buildup. Jem Cooke’s vocals go straight to the heart which are then followed by enchanting melodies from the genius that is Eric Prydz. The main lead though, is strikingly similar to Prydz’s remix of Calvin Harris – Flashback and some hardcore fans might feel that he missed a mark there. Overall, the track is another testament of Eric’s production capabilities and his knack of coming up with unique melodies. With a new Pryda EPs releasing in the months of June-July-August, this remix might just be a bonus track fans can put on repeat to get themselves in the mood.
