Diplo has been dropping music left, right and center across genres this year, and it doesn’t seem like he’s planning to slow down anytime soon. The American producer kicked off 2019 with his EP titled ‘Europa’, which featured underground rappers from Europe spitting some unique verses. He followed it up with the full-length album from his collaborative supergroup ‘LSD’ with Labrinth & Sia. We are just getting in terms with the launch of his country music project ‘Thomas Wesley’ as he brings a brand new ‘Higher Ground’ EP.

The Grammy-winning producer’s latest offering comprises of 4 catchy house tracks which will definitely make you groove. This is not the first time Diplo has dabbled with house music and his recent house sets at Coachella were a sign of things to come. The EP starts off with a euphoric tune called ‘Hold You Tight’. ‘Give Dem’ is a banging collaboration with Canadian act Blond:ish with Nigerian singer Kah-Lo on vocal duties. Tove Lo’s heavenly voice gives a familiar touch to Diplo’s beats on ‘Win Win’. The EP concludes with a tribal tune ‘Bubble Up’.

If you’re in love with this side of Diplo, we have good news for you. The multi-talented DJ/Producer has promised to release four more house tracks over the year. Recently in an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, Diplo said:

“I’m just learning, I made a lot of club music. I made hip-hop, but I (didn’t) make a lot of house in the last like five years. I’ve been playing so much of it. So, I’m trying to just make something new, make a new event, make a new ceiling.”

Talking about his upcoming releases, he told Lowe of his collaborations with notable house producers Elderbrook, andhim and Black Coffee. We can’t wait to hear more of house music from Diplo.
