For the past 2 decades, Ultra Miami has been one of the biggest events in the EDM industry on the planet. Unfortunately, the relationship between Ultra and Miami is over. The Festival wrote a letter stating that they’re looking for a new venue somewhere in South Florida. The Festival goes on to state that over the years it has been contacted by many parties who would let the Festival take place in different locations. Ultra quotes that one of those was perhaps most impressive.
In a report, it was stated that local marine life suffered excess stress levels because of loud music at the festival. It was found that testing of hormone levels showed stress levels “were greater than if the fish were being chased by a predator.” So due to such issues and opposition, the festival will be relocating to a new location elsewhere in south Florida.
