Amsterdam Dance Event is always among the biggest highlights of the year with the who’s who of the industry coming together in the Dutch city of Amsterdam every year in October. Among the plethora of events happening during the week of ADE, Awakenings Festival is arguably the most anticipated with its stunning production, notorious underground venue of Gashouder and the biggest techno DJs taking the stage to showcase their skills. Awakenings Festival has now just announced their mammoth expansion for this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event with a lineup reveal featuring 85 top DJs and a brand new venue.
The spectacular venue of Gashouder has been home to Awakenings Festival for over 20 years. Now the Dutch techno giant has added another venue; Warehouse Elementenstraat. The two venues will host ten shows over 5 days of ADE week starting on Wednesday, October 16th. In the official announcement made earlier today, Awakenings have promised to bring 121 hours of techno including a 24-hour long party on Saturday, October 19th.
