When it comes to Celestial Trance or Classical Trance there’s only one name or should we say one project which surely leave us in a goosebumps moment every single time when production is out from it.

Still didn’t get it ? We are talking about Dutch Trance pioneer Mr Ferry Corsten pres. Gouryella, a project which was a joint effort of Ferry and Tiesto back in the days until Tiesto decided to focus on his solo career and part his way in 2001.

After almost 14 years Ferry decided to take Gouryella on his own and brought back this project to life by delivering a magnificent beauty called “Anahera”, the track and its impact was so huge that it got crowned as Tune of The Year 2015 on Armin van Buuren’s radio show A State of Trance.

And right after the success of Anahera in 2015 Mr Corsten released couple of more Gouryella productions titled as Neba & Venera in 2016 and 17 respectively.

Its 2019 now and after a long wait of 2 years Ferry revived Gouryella with another amazing gem called “Surga” and if you ask us we wait for moments like these when big tracks like Surga drops which definitely is the contender for Tune of The Year and to describe the track with, a masterpiece with uplifting elements with melodic breakdown to make your day.

Gouryella is the aboriginal word for Heaven, Walhalla is the Viking for Heaven, Neba is the Slovakian word for Heaven and Surga is the Indonesian word for Heaven so its like a tradition to name the tracks which has word either Heaven or Angel and the idea behind these naming conventions is something which is bigger than all of us (for example Venera is the Russian word for Venus, the Goddess of Fertility and Love) but at the same time in a language which is foreign and it has to be a beautiful word and what that means, Hemel the Dutch word for Heaven might be in works 🙂
