Tinlicker have had stellar past couple of years with a string of invigorating releases on top labels mau5trap, Anjunadeep, Armada. The Utrecht based duo are back on Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats to unveil their debut LP ‘This Is Not Our Universe’. Jordi Van Achthoven and Micha Heyboer have put their signature style of blending deep and progressive house on full display with this offering. The 13-track album also features their euphoric remix of alternative rock band Alt-J’s platinum hit ‘Breezeblocks’.

In an official statement, Tinlicker said:
“This is actually our first album together. Our characters are quite different. This album is the result of those two different characters and the tension that arises in the search for the balance between the two of us. It is, as it were, a collection of ingredients with which we show that we are happy with the differences between them. The album also represents diversity. Many tracks on the album have the same character but are still different from each other. A nice reflection of how we are as people.”
A melting pot of progressive, deep house and trance, ‘This Is Not Our Universe’ also boasts of eclectic vocalists. At run time of over an hour-long, fans of the progressive house are in for a treat to go on a journey through eclectic melodic progressive house music.
