As this decade comes to an end, Axtone has decided to end things in style with this last release by ManyFew and Marcus Santoro called ‘For You’ (feat. Hayley May). First let’s welcome Sweden’s rocketing production duo to the imprint, brothers Jacob and Victor Andersson AKA ManyFew. Their uplifting and feel-good productions never fall short of some amazing fresh vibes. The self-taught duo was selected as one of DJ Mag’s “12 emerging artists you need to hear” which is an amazing feat to achieve. Their release ‘Closer Love‘ is a must-listen which also received a dance floor ready ‘VIP Mix’. Also, do make sure to check out their amazing funky and groovy induced remix to Alan Walker‘s hit single ‘Alone‘.
Now let’s talk about this amazing Australian talent who has already given us such quality tracks over the past few years. Releasing tracks on labels like Protocol Recordings, Axtone, Heldeep Records and Armada Music, Marcus Santoro is completely unstoppable at the moment. Marcus‘ progressive sounds are just too good to be true. Tracks and remixes like ‘Shine‘ (w/ Sentinel), ‘Forever Young‘ (w/ Feenixpawl), ‘My Way‘ and ‘The Way‘ are all so spectacular. But one of the biggest highlights of the year for Marcus would surely be the incredible remix he did for Meduza‘s ‘Piece Of My Heart‘ which is another gem of a remix.
Also, let’s not forget about the beautiful vocalist of the track, Hayley May who is also debuting on this prestigious record label. And hats off to her for recording these stunning vocals and writing such memorable lyrics to which we can sing along to. Her work on Joel Corry‘s smash hit ‘Sorry‘ has taken the world by storm which is definitely worth a listen. Hoping to hear her voice in many more tracks in the near future.
The track ‘For You‘ builds up with a very soothing aura which then radiates pure euphoric synths and a powerful bassline. This is a prime example of how well the artists’ signature sounds blend in together in creating such a wonderful track. The energy it transmits makes it a perfect clubbing tune which is sure to dominate all dance floors.
