Coming straight from the heart of Cluj, the best county when it comes to electronic music, the place where all the magic happens, a new festival is born and we can’t wait to tell you everything about it. After so many great parties held by /FORM SPACE and Midi Club in Cluj-Napoca, the organizers are getting ready to hit the road to Rákóczi-Bánffy Gilău Castle, between July 2nd-5th, for /FORM Days – Music and Arts Festival.

Diversity,  great atmosphere, and stunning surroundings are shaping the 1st phase of artists, coming with names on the stage of Romania’s music like Passenger, David August, Gorgon City, Anathema, Hooverphonic, Solstafir, Nneka, Leprous, Black Sun Empire, Delta Heavy W, Daxta, LSB, Maduk, Naxatras,  2 SHY, Radikal Guru and many others.

FORM Days-The Festival of Music and Arts offers a different experience in which music and art combine in the most natural way. During the festival, the area will be arranged in four stages, each with different musical genres, / FORM Stage (rock, electronic), Midi Stage (house, tech-house, electro), SubFORM Stage (hip hop, drum, and bass, dubstep), Reggae Stage and a fifth scene, ARTS Stage, dedicated to shows of art, stand-up comedy, theatre, burlesque,  cabaret, etc.

The line-up starts with British folk-rock singer, Michael David Rosenberg, known as Passenger, who is making his way to Romania for the first edition of / FORM Days Festival. Another artist, born in Hamburg in 1990, August composes and plays electronic music with optimistic tones and a human aesthetic. “Creating music – the act of creating in general – should be free from rationalization. In the best case, relying solely on subconscious communication,” says the multi-instrumentalist, classically trained. Whether playing solo for the Boiler Room (2014) or a Resident Advisor Live Session (2015), DJ usually hires trusted musicians as part of his Ensemble (2015-2016), or explores collaboration with the Deutsche’s Symphonie-Orchester of Berlin (2016), delivering moments of immediate speech remains a constant. This time August will take part in the / FORM Days line-up family and will bring THE LIFE OF MERISI.
