German techno stalwart Ellen Allien has unleashed the first single off her upcoming album titled ‘AurAA’. Last year, the BPitch head honcho dropped her eighth solo album ‘Alientronic ‘ and now she is gearing up to present her ninth studio album. Her upcoming 9-track album is inspired by the notion that we are not alone in this realm, exploring the possibilities of unseen entities cohabiting with us in our mortal plane.

The first single titled ‘True Romantics’ features Ellen’s signature use of vocals-as-melody entrancing the listener. ‘True Romantics’ taps into your emotional center utilizing hard beats and wistful synth lines.

Emotive analog bleeps and a cyborg-esque pitched-down vocal add to the emotionally-driven power of this cut, complementing the undulating percussion to create a highly evocative composition. Alongside this release, she dropped the official music video for the single which is an absolute A/V treat!
