The very talented Dutch DJ/Producer, Dannic has reached a great milestone in his career by completing 200 episodes of his weekly podcast ‘Fonk Radio‘. And to celebrate this awesome feat, Daan went behind the decks for a special celebratory live stream for all his fans featuring tons of new IDs and some classics as well!

The journey of reaching 200 episodes of Fonk Radio is really something special for him and for me as a fan too. And to understand the specialty of this epic expedition we have to go all the way back where it all started. In 2013, when Daan was releasing bangers after bangers on Hardwell‘s prestigious Revealed Recordings we were also introduced to his weekly podcast called ‘Front Of House Radio‘. It ran for a total of 88 episodes spread across a couple of years before we had to say goodbye to it. Luckily the absence of the podcast was not very long because as time went by Dannic was getting ready on launching his very own imprint, Fonk Recordings which eventually gave birth to a new podcast, Fonk Radio!

Now coming back to the awesome live stream, this episode of Fonk Radio featured tons of new music and also some nostalgic tracks as well. Dannic played some of his old tracks like ‘Blueprint‘ (w/ Sick Individuals), ‘Funky Time‘ (w/ HIIO), and some classics from his label which were requested by his fans. The episode also featured some solid ID action from upcoming releases at Fonk Recordings. And things don’t just stop here, Dannic also premiered 2 of his brand new tracks from his upcoming 3-track EP called ‘Baila‘ which will be OUT SOON!

Time flies when you’re having a good time. Listening to this episode of Fonk Radio brought back a lot of good memories and showed us how far we’ve come. It’s a remarkable achievement for Dannic and his team and we hope to see many more episodes and tons of new music from him for years to come.
